1.T:What’s in my hand ?

S1: There’s a picture .
2.T:What’s behind the door?

S:There’s a ball.
3.What’s under the desk?

S:There are some balls.

4.Make some sentences.

Make some sentences use“What’s in/on/under

/behind…?There’s/There

are…”

B Presentation

1.T:Today we’ll visit Yang Ling’s new house .出示书中第一幅图,介绍背景。
Yang Ling and her parents live in a new house.
It is near her school. They like the new house very much.

Learn the new words: live, parent

Make phrases and read the sentences.

2.T:Show the house.

复习单词a bathroom, a bedroom, a study, a kitchen, a dining-room, a sitting-room等。

3. 让学生上来指着屏幕上的图并描述新居的情况。

Yang Ling’s house is big. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a study, a kitchen, a dining-room and a large sitting-room.学生试着说这句话,或分句描述。

4.T:Is there a study/a kitchen/a dining-room in Yang Ling’s house?

Are there any bedrooms/reading rooms in it? How many bedrooms are there?
S:Answer the questions.

5.出示Yang Ling卧室的图。

学生学习单词 world及词组a map of the world, 顺便学习a map of China

C Read and say

显示插图、并配有录音。

1.学生听整段对话,并模仿跟读两遍。
2.
学生分角色朗读对话。

D Consolidation

利用学生之间互不了解对方家居室情况而产生的信息沟展开问答,并编成小对话。

Make a dialogue.

S: There is a toy dog in the box.

T: What’s under the book?
S: There are some pens under the book.

( Practice those sentences using the things in the classroom)

  1. 1.T: Look, there is a

T: Here’s a rubber for you.
(Practice with the

stationeries.)

S: There isn’t a rubber in my pencil box.

Practice in pairs.

2.T: Look, there are some pencils on the desk.
There aren’t any rulers on the desk.

T: Who can make some sentences?
T: Here are some pens for you.
(Practice with the stationeries.)

3.Ask and answer in pairs according to the picture of part D.

Ss make the sentences and practice in pairs.

4.Look at the picture of part D and make some sentences.

5.Read Part E by yourselves and try to understand.
