洛阳白云山国家森林公园位于河南省洛阳市嵩县西南部伏牛山腹地，总面积45平方公里，是世界地质公园、国家aaaaa级旅游景区、全国最具影响力的森林公园之一、全国科普教育基地、中国十佳休闲胜地、中国最美的地方。
地跨长江、黄河、淮河三大流域，处于北亚热带向暖温带的气候过渡带，孕育了典型的森林生态系统，森林覆盖率高达98.5%以上，平均海拔1500米，1300米以上的山峰有103座，年均降水量1200mm以上，盛夏平均气温不超过26℃，有脊椎动物204种，昆虫3000余种，植物1991种，是天然的生物资源基因库，被专家誉为“自然博物馆”。
白云山目前已开发有九龙瀑布、玉皇顶、小黄山等三个观光区，白云峰、原始森林两个探险区，白云湖、森林氧吧、高山牡丹园、留候祠、芦花谷等五大休闲区。
原中央政治局视察白云山题词“中原名山”;著名书法家启功先生题笔“人间仙境白云山”;原新华社社长穆青先生泼墨“白云天下秀”，被誉为“千年帝王避暑地，生态疗养第一山”、“中国夏都，养生天堂”。

各位朋友，白云山可谓“无处不秀，无景不美”。想要全部游览完，一天肯定是不够的，我们首先选择的是水域风光---九龙瀑布区。九龙瀑布是白河的发源地，更是整个白云山景区的精华所在。现在我们走的这座桥叫做仙人桥，为什么会叫这么个名字呢?这里还有一个神奇的传说呢，相传当年八仙云游至此，发现无路可走，正在众仙一筹莫展的时候，铁拐李用他那个铁拐一指眼前的一块石头，一时间，仙雾弥漫，等众仙再看时，石头已经没有了，眼前却出现了一座石桥，众仙这才顺利通过了桥面。我们现在也从这座桥上走一下，沾一下这座石桥的仙气吧。过了仙人桥，我们现在看到的这个悬崖叫做千尺崖，也叫白龙撞，它融高，陡，险，峻，奇为一体，十分壮观。
佳县白云山位于陕西省榆林市佳县城南5公里处的黄河之滨，道教名山，又名嵯峨岭，山势西北东南走向，雄踞滔滔黄河西岸，山上松柏苍郁，重岩叠嶂，夏秋之季常有白云飘绕其间，远远望去若隐若现，素以“关西名胜”闻名于世。这里山水相映，白云缭绕，松拍参天，庙宇林立，是全国著名风景名胜区和道教名山，全国重点文物保护单位，白云山古称对龙岭，亦叫嵯峨岭，后因终年白云缭绕，而称白云山，庙也因“山门无锁白云封”而叫白云观。
榆林白云山据《佳县志》记载，明万历三十三年(1605)，终南山道士李玉凤云游四方，来到白云山，观其山其景秀，便结庐而居，采药治病，设化教民，普济众生，他医德高尚，医术精湛，一时间名扬四方，被万姓尊为玉凤真人。白云观便是在真人的主持下开始修建的。明万历四十六年(1618)神宗皇帝朱翊钧给白云山颁施对旨一道，亲赐《道藏》4726卷，从此白云山名声大震，当地大兴土木，营造道观，后经历代续建补葺，建成了以道为主兼有儒、释庙宇各类建筑100余处、占地200余亩的宏大宫观。成为全国著名道教圣地，为西北地区最大的明清古建筑群。
