Doing housework makes me responsible
Some students say doing housework with our parents is useless, but in my point of view, doing housework can not only exercise our body but also lighten the burdens on our parents. More importantly, doing housework makes me
responsible. I think it is also a way to show our love and express our gratefulness to our parents. If we do housework more often, we will be the person who has a strong sense of responsibility. It will lead us to success. Although I am busy every day, I still help my parents do some housework. In fact, doing housework makes me happy and relaxed. All in all, it makes me more responsible and a better person.
Working as a volunteer makes me responsible
I worked as a volunteer last summer. That experience made me responsible. Cleaning the neighborhood was a tiring job. That made me realize keeping the neighborhood clean was our responsibility. We shouldn’t litter everywhere. After that, I spent a couple of days taking care of the old. By talking to them, I discovered most of them were missing their children. It reminded me that we are responsible for our family. We should help lighten their burdens instead of waiting for their care. In general, I find that being a volunteer makes me responsible.
A sad experience makes me responsible
I didn’t realize how important responsibility was until something happened
to me. Last year, I got a rabbit from my mother. It was so lovely that it brought me a lot of fun. However, I sometimes forgot to feed it. One day, I found it was dying. I tried every means to save it, but it was too late. I felt upset. After that experience, I realized the importance of responsibility. Nowadays, when I am given a task, I take it seriously and I always do it very carefully. The sad experience makes me responsible and it teaches me what is life and death. It is a great lesson in the classroom that has no walls.
Having a trip makes me responsible
When I first travelled with my parents, I learned a lot. I think it makes me responsible in some way.
Firstly, before traveling abroad, I must know about the weather there and prepare the proper clothes. Secondly, I must check the route of the flight again and again to be sure we can get to the destination safely and quickly. Thirdly, I may find some books which tell us the food, culture and history there. I should do everything ahead of time.
So I am deeply convinced that having a trip makes me responsible. I think the sense of responsibility is the key to success.
Being an English representative makes me responsible
I used to be a careless girl who was lack of a sense of responsibility, but being
an English representative changed me. It makes me more responsible.
In order to hand in the homework of the whole class on time, I have to get up early to get to school. I need to remind my classmates of their homework. Also, I remind myself of my responsibility as an English representative. Now I have realized the importance of being a responsible person and I will try my best to be a better person.
A special day makes me responsible
When I was in Grade 7, I took part in a basketball match with my friends. Because of my good skills of basketball, I surely became the leader of our team. But I was so proud of myself that I always shot the ball by myself and hardly passed the ball to my teammates. Finally, we lost the match. It taught me a lesson. I realized that as a leader of a team, I should be responsible for the whole team, not just show off my skills. From then on, I always think teamwork is more important and of course our team has gained a lot of prizes. That special day makes me more responsible.
Looking after my brother makes me responsible
As we all know, responsibility plays an important role in our daily life. I am a responsible person at present because of my little brother.
Last Saturday, our parents went shopping. Therefore, I had to take care of my
little brother. I spent two hours playing with him before he finally went to sleep. Although I was tired, I gained an unforgettable experience. I felt happy and excited.
Looking after my brother makes me responsible. I learn how to look after other people and how hard it is to be a parent. Now I do more things for my parents in return.
