Good morning, everyone! I'm very glad to stand here to interpret my lesson, I'm going to talk about the first class of Unit 4 “What can you do?”of PEP Primary English,Book 5 ,volume 1.Now I prepare to interpret the lesson from the following parts.

Part Ⅲ.Teaching method
Pupils have strong intellectual curiosity.With strong outsight and imitation,pupils are curious of new things. In this lesson I will mainly use Task-based teaching method. I willl let ss learn in real situation,finish task by working in groups.Help ss study easily with pictures.
Part Ⅳ.Teaching procedures
Step 1. Lead in
Begin with a song that ss have learned,and educe “I can sing a song”.Then get the key sentence structure:I can…
Step 2 . Let’s chant
(1) I will shows the pictures with 4 animals (bird,fish,dog,rabbit)and asks ss
what can you see?Then get out the sentence “What can they do”?Next,ss answer The bird can fly .The fish can swim .The dog can run. The rabbit can jump.
(2)Then I will play Let’s Chant.Let ss listen the tape with the picture for 2 times,and then ask ss to sing together.
Step 3. Presentation
I will show 5 pictures that Xiaohong is cooking the meals,sweeping the floor,cleaning the bedroom,watering the flowers,emptying the trash.As a result,I will say Xiaohong is helpful,She can empty the trash……Then ss read after me of the 5 phrases,especially empty the trash,because empty is difficult.Next,I will let ss do these actions with the real broom,watering can,slice,rag and trash can.Thus ss can remember the phrases easily and happily.
Step 4.Practice
I will let ss to been a group with 4,then they ask and answer each other Are you help at home?.Yes/Not.What can you do at home? I can….Then I will give a piece of paper which has some sentences on it,butthere are a few blanks of the sentences.Next I will read some sentenceswith the 5 phrases and ask ss to fill in the blanks with the words or phrases the have heard.Next I will let ss check the answers with each other.After that,I will give the correct answer to ss.
Step 5. Homework:I will ask ss to help parents,and write down what they can do to help their parents. Thus ss will love their parents more.
Part Ⅴ. Design of the Blackboard Writing
I will divid the blackboard 3 parts,the title Unit 4 What can you do? Will be written at the top middle.Then on the left side of blackboard,I will write down 5
phrases and the difficult word “helpful” and “empty”.On the middle of blackboard, I will write down the main sentences structure:what can you do ?-----I am helpful.I can ….On the right side of blackboard,I will stick the pictures.
