Have you ever heard a book dubbed All Trivia? Have the trivia around you already made you feel tired? Or have you even ever noticed the trivia in your daily life? Our society is running so fast that trivia brings people nothing but impatience nowadays. And I was one of the impatient people until I met All Trivia.

All Trivia is written by Logan Pearsall Smith, an English writer. He was born in 1865 in America but had spent most of his lifetime in England. He was born rich and maybe for that reason he could pay so much attention to the trivia around him——he never needed to worry about food. And he was very knowledgeable, which can be known from the words he had written. Besides the beautiful words he had organized, he was also very familiar with the culture of Greece, the crooked roads in the mountainous areas in China, even the stars in the sky and he can mix the things he knew in the words naturally. How qualified he was as a student from The University of Oxford!

The book is combined by many small articles. It is just like a diary describing the trivia in the author’s daily life. But some articles in it are absolutely created by the author, in other words, they are the author’s imagination. And they are written freely. It seems that the author is just writing what is running through his mind without extra consideration. And the words all convey the author’s real emotions. From the book, we

can learn that the author is a mild person who loves life very much. And it seems that he knows everything, never be angry with anything, like a sage.

There is one thing I have to say about the book——it has taught me to appreciate the world! Maybe not everyone has the time to observe the trivia in the life and we often let interesting things pass by without paying any attention. But Logan has described the trivia for us in details and provided the chance for everyone to enjoy our daily life. Sometimes the world is beautiful enough, but it needs someone to find its beauty. Although not everyone has the time to stop to watch an ant carrying sweets, just like not everyone can analyze the condition in an optimistic way. But at least we can have a try, try to slow down our steps,try to learn things in different ways, try to appreciate our daily life! In short, it is a worth-reading book!
