一、教学目标与要求

四、教学过程
Step1 Preparation 1. Let’ chant 2. Free talk
(1) What can you do after class?
T: Dogs can run, pandas can eat bamboo. At school, we can play. What can you do at school? S1: I can sing. S2: I can fly kites
S3:I can sweep the floor.
T: Look, what he can do? He can play chess. Teach “play chess”
(2)What can you do at home?
T: Wow, you can do so many things. You are so helpful. Are you helpful at home? What can you do at home?
Pair work: 出示各种图片, A: What can you do at home? B: I’m helpful. I can .
(3)We can set the table ,cook the meals, do the dishes at home. Can you guess what I can do? 依次让学生猜,运用“Can you……?”这个句型。 Step2 Pre –reading 1. Present “robot”
(1) Today I bring a friend. Look ,It is a robot (2) Can you guess what robot can do? Step3 While – reading 1. The first reading:Listen and find out the answer to question.
What robot can do? I know. You don’t know. OK, let’s open you book turn to page 51. Listen and find out what robot can do? S1: Robot can play chess. S2: Robot can use a computer.
2. The second reading: Read carefully and find out “What can’t robot do?” 仔细阅读,找出机器人不能做的事情。 PPT 呈现

The third reading : Read loudly, then to think over the following questions. 听并跟读,仔细思考下列问题。 T: You can find it in the text. S1: He is a computer.
出示:Why robot can play chess?
Why robot can’t make the bed, can’t do the dishes, can’t set the table? Ss: ? (学生可能不知道,老师可以自己来说) T: Because it is a computer.
4. 思考What can we do on the computer? (可出示图片提示学生)
T: Wow, we can do so many things on the computer. It’s so useful. Step4 Post reading
1. Look, listen and repeat .Then act it out. (1) 跟读1遍
(2) 男女生分角色读. (3) 师生共演 (4) 学生表演
