So many students have to spend much time on reading a large number of reading materials in class as well as outside class. The article mainly talks about how English teachers should help students improve reading comprehension ability by analyzing the elements of hindering students from improving reading comprehension ability and in this way showing teachers’ important role in reading comprehension teaching. 五、 研究结果 Teaching reading skills to correct students’ bad reading habits Preparation is necessary, It tells students some background knowledge concerning with the reading text to remove the obstacles probably appearing and raise some questions.
