摘要：The method involves collecting and calculating data e.g. supply voltage,representing utilization of electrical energy of a motor vehicle. The data is stored on arotating memory to constitute a series of data at a time interval that separates vehicle`sstarting periods when the data is available and a supply voltage of a vehicle`s main logiccontroller is lower than a preset threshold voltage. The series of data is stored on astorage memory when the controller voltage is lower than the preset voltage. The datais analyzed during vehicle failure, to identify an energy consumption source. Anindependent claim is also included for a battery failure diagnosis assisting devicecomprising a non-volatile memory.
