Last week, our yearly school sports meeting is held and the students of our class took an active part in it.

On the first day, we watched the impressive opening ceremony performing by energetic teachers and students.

Soon, the games formally began. Some of my classmate ran to the track to cheer for the athletes while others

remained seat, watching them from a distance. I was excited because they would compete in the 100-meter dash

with my classmates cheering. Fortunately, I fell on the ground, missing the chance to win. What a pity!

Although I failed, but I was still looking forward a better performance the next day. However, as the result of the rain, we had to put off the sports meeting, that made us disappointed.

Hello, everyone,

I will tell you some informations about our school’s opening ceremony. It was held on September 10. I

was sunny. More than 6,000 teachers and students took part it. There were very many people that we

had to walk slow. It was a two-hour ceremony. The opening ceremony was really excited to us, because

they met a number of new students and teachers. With our teachers’ help, we made a great progress in

each subject, so we sang and dance happily. Although we were very tired, but we were excited.

you can write your e-mail good Chinese. I read your e-mail to my parents and show them the photo you

sent it to me. How time flies! Our friendship has lasted for several months. We have got to know but

learned a lot with each other. Yes, it is clearly that your life in your country is quite different from me.

I was used to complain about my art teacher for her bad temper. I was also tired with her teaching methods,

it were always slow and bored. However, my attitude towards her began to change one afternoon. It was

raining heavily and I didn't attend to school. At around 5:30 p.m. I received a phone call. \"Are you all

right?\" asked my art teacher in quiet voice. On hearing his words, I was shocked and my mind was flooded

with mixing feelings. She is showing her concern for me, though I had not been happily with her! Was she just acting, or should I smooth away my past misunderstanding of her?

During the vacation, the weather was hot and I could do much work, but I lived happily. On the morning I usually got up

early and take a walk in the garden. After breakfast, I began reading English and did some exercise in maths. I worked quite

hardly and made great progress. I spent nearly the whole afternoon outside. I went swim in the river and didn't come back when

it was about five or six. Sometimes a friend of me would come to see me and we would spend some hours listened to music. In

this way I spent my vacation happily. I not only studied well and but also became a good swimmer.

Li Kang lives in Shijiazhuang, a capital city of Hebei. Today is his first day at Senior High school.

Everything in the school impress him much. The classroom is amaze，that has a computer with a special

screen behind it. The teachers are friend and enthusiastic. His English teacher's teaching method is

completely different from one of the teachers at Junior High. During his class，Li Kang and his classmates

introduced they to each other. But did some spelling games. There are three times as much girls as boys in

the class and they all work very hardly.
