摘要： An apparatus for detecting contamination of a capacitive sensor, comprising aguard electrode surrounding a portion of the detector and a circuit providing anexcitation signal to the sensor and an identical excitation signal to the guard electrode.The circuit comprises means for periodically isolating the guard electrode from theexcitation signal and organs for detecting the difference between the sensor outputwhen the guard electrode receives the excitation signal and when isolated from theexcitation signal, the detected difference being a function of the contamination of theguard electrode.
