摘要：Method and apparatus for producing perforated paper, especially cigarettepaper and tip-covering paper. The perforations are produced by guiding the paperbetween two electrodes to which a voltage sufficient for spark-over is applied. The paper

is passed through continuously between the electrodes and the time interval betweenthe spark-overs depends, on the one hand, on a predetermined value and, on the otherhand, on the web speed of the paper passed through. In one embodiment, provision ismade for different zones to have different perforation densities, for these perforationdensities to be measured and for the desired perforation density to be maintained at alltimes via a controlled system.
