(2)会唱英语歌:Big and Small

Step1.Warming-up and Revision
Greetings and Free Talk
T: Hello! Boys and girls.
S: Hello! Teacher.
T: Do you like animals?
S: Yes, we like animals.
T: Look at the screen and say the name of the animals quickly.
Let’s see who is fast and correct?
(大屏幕快速出现动物图片,引导学生们说出它们的名字cat, chicken, cow, dog, duck, goat, pig, sheep,复习以前学过的动物词汇,同时自然导入下一环节的教学)
T: Yon are excellent. Where do they live?
S: On a farm.
T: I know some animals, they don’t live on a farm, and they live in a zoo
Step2. Presentation and Practice
1. T: Today let’s learn some animals at the zoo. Look, this is a zoo. Listen carefully, who is coming?
(大屏幕上呈现动物园的图片,让学生认真听老虎咆哮的声音,自然引出词汇tiger,教学tiger)
(电脑屏幕上呈现狮子的一部分,让学生去猜测,并引出,呈现狼生活的地方,教师提问Who lives here?引出wolf, 呈现熊从远方走来的情景,教师问Look carefully, who is coming?引出bear)
Read and spell the new words “walf ,tiger ,bear, snake”. Ask and answer “What is it? It is a/an___. ”
2. let’s sing!
听英文歌“Big and small” , 教师逐句教唱,学生齐唱,跟录音唱。
3. long or short

T: What’s this?
S: An elephant.
T: Look, Its nose is long. (呈现单词long)
T: What’s this?
S: a rabbit.
T: Look, Its ears are long. But its tail is short(呈现单词short)
Step3 let’play
Practice in pair; guess animals :
S1: Its tail is long。
S2: It’s thin.
S3: It’s brown.
S4: Is it a monkey?
S5: Yes!
T: Animals are our friends. We should love animals for ever. Let’s do it together.
Step4. Homework:
Draw your favorite animal at the zoo and write something about it.
