摘要： The invention relates to an apparatus and method for obtaining a diversityreception in a transmission system such as the GSM cellular radio system. A received callof low quality received through one of the two antennas (15, 16) and a first receiver froma plurality (10-14). A receiver service which is not intended to receive a call is identifiedand the service receiver is switched to receive the call through the second antenna. Theservice receiver is tuned to the frequency of the low-quality call, calls are combined indiversity through the first receiver and the service receiver.
