Nanling county is located in the southeastern of Anhui province, the southern of Wuhu city and the south of Yangtze River, to the east is Xuanzhou county of Xuancheng city, to the west are tongling county, qingyang county, to the south is jing county and to the north are fanchang county and wuhu county. It is the national production area of high-quality rice and green manure seeds.

The whole county covers 1263.7square km, consists of 8 towns(yandun town,jiafa town, jishan town, xuzhen town, gejiang town, hewan town, sanli town, gongshan town),157 villages and 19 community residents’ committees, has a population of 5 thousands with 25 ethnics including Han, Hui, Zhuang an so on. The county is intersected by 205,318 line of state road and 320,216 line of province road. The Beijing-Fuzhou railway and tong-nan-xuan highway are under construction. It is an important transportation hub of southern Anhui.

Nanling, as one of the birthplace of Chinese bronze culture,it has a long history and is a place gathering people and culture. In recent years, the whole county thoroughly implement the scientific concept of development, highlight the dominance of industry, put the “ implement project construction, service the enterprise development, strengthen the investments and balance the urban and rural development”as the mainline, accelerate the economic construction of the economic development zone, the new area of the county, dapu test area and the eight towns.
