摘要：A distributor for use in a liquid manure spreader to distribute manure to aplurality of discharge hoses via a manifold fed by a manure feed pipe connected to amanure pump. The distributor has a cylindrical chamber connected to the manifold abovethe same. This chamber has a bottom wall with a central inlet in open communication withthe manifold and a top wall provided with a set-of equally spaced apart outlets. Anannular baffle is mounted within the cylindrical chamber, so as to better distribute theincoming manure within the chamber. The distributor also has a set of atop dischargepipes connecting each outlet of the cylindrical chamber to a corresponding dischargehose. Each discharge pipe includes a first, vertically extending portion, a middlehorizontally extending portion, a last vertically extending portion and a vertically

extending, upwardly projecting air vent connected to the middle portion of the dischargepipe at substantially mid-length of it in order to prevent unequal vacuuming of thecorresponding discharge hose. If desired, the distributor may further incorporate ashredder kit to allow spreading of manure containing some bedding.
