第一讲Module 1 Unit 1 Let's try to speak English as much as possible.

【教材分析】

Unit 1通过听、读、说训练,初步学习给别人提建议的方法。

其中活动1要求将所给表示学习活动的词汇分类;活动2要求根据录音判断对话主题;活动3—5听读包含建议的对话并完成填表、答问等任务。活动6学习英语中的连读法;活动7根据提示口头练习给别人提建议的方法。 【教学目标】

1.掌握提出建议的表达方式。 2.能够听懂有关学习的建议。 3.能够口头就学习方法提出建议。

4.能够表演包含建议的对话或就学习方面的建议做口头陈述。 【教学内容】

look up 查,查找

【考点】look up是由动词+副词构成的短语,如果宾语是代词,要放在look与up之间,如果是名词,可放在look up后面,也可以放在look与up之间。

【重点】另外注意动词后加介词构成动介短语,此时,该短语相当于一个及物动词,后面必须加宾语(由名词、代词或动名词充当),且该宾语不能放在动介短语的中间。 eg:May I come into this room? 我可以进到这个房间里来吗?

(come into是动介短语,宾语this room不能省略。) 典例精讲:

9. aloud/ə'laʊd/adv.大声地

【考点】aloud为副词,修饰动词,意为“大声地”。 eg:Read the text aloud, please. 请大声读课文。 【重点】aloud/loud/loudly辨析 aloud aloud为副词,强调发出的声音能被听见,常与read,call等词连用。 loud可用作形容词或副词,作副词时,loud 侧重发出的声音大,传得远,多修饰speak,laugh等动词。 loudly She called aloud for help.她大声呼救。 The music is too loud.Please turn it down.音乐声太大了。请把它调小。 loudly为副词,含有“喧闹、嘈杂”之Suddenly the bell on the wall rang 意,常与ring,knock等动词连用。 loudly.突然墙上的铃大声响起来。 - 5 - / 7

How about...?……怎么样?这是一个常用的提建议的句型,意思为“……怎么样?”,可以用What about...?来替换。
