摘要：The invention relates to a method for controlling the gear changes of a motorvehicle gear box (1) which consists of a continuously variable first gear box range (2) and asecond stepped gear box range (3) and is configured as an automatic gear box. Thestepped second gear box range (3) has at least two gear steps (4). A first transmissionrange is formed by the first gear step in conjunction with the first, continuous gear boxrange (2) and the second transmission range is formed by the second gear step (5) inconjunction with the first, continuous gear box range (2). The first and second

transmission ranges have a common range in which they overlap. The continuous and/orstepped gear changes are carried out using a control device (6). The stepped gearchanges of the second, stepped gear box range (3) are triggered in the overlappingrange while the position of the gas pedal (16) is being changed, in order to improveddriving comfort.
