摘要：A twist drill, having a replaceable drill tip, comprising a drill bit shaft (), a cuttinginsert () which is detachably fixed thereto and which forms the tip area of the twist drill,
and comprises a flute () that continues into the cutting insert (). The cutting insert rests,with a bearing surface () extending orthogonal to the center longitudinal axis () of thedrill bit, on the face () of the drill bit shaft () and extends with a fixing stud (), whichcentrally protrudes from the bearing surface (), into a receiving recess () which isconfigured complementary thereto and which is provided in the face () of the drill bitshaft (). At least one peripheral section () of the fixing stud () comprises a firstlongitudinal section () that, with a screw surface () which points away from the drill bitshaft (), which slopes upward to the drill bit tip () in a direction of rotation of the drill bit,and which interacts with an opposite surface () on the inner wall () of the receiving recess(), merges into a second longitudinal section ().
