With the development of the modern technology，private car is no longer a luxurious thing for ordinary people，more and more people drive to work instead of going by bus. The popularization of private car has many

advantages.First， it is very convenient and time-saving ，you can drive your own car to the workplace instead of waiting for the crowded bus and afraid of being late for working.Second，it can also improve the traffic structure，and help to mitigate the stress of the traffic.Third， the popularization of private car can help to promote the car industry and any other interrelated industries. I believe that in the future the private car will bee the most important vehicle and we cann't live without it.

Last January the New Year began on Thursday. I shall never forget that day because I almost died of fright. My brother and I were walking down the road， followed by the dog. I was carrying a cake to a friend. My brother is a football fan， he carried a ball in hand.

A car came toward us. I thought that both the dog and my brother were safe， but suddenly the ball fell off my

brother's hand and rolled to the middle of the road. Our dog ran after the ball. My brother ran to save our dog. Luckily the driver saw this， and was able to stop the car in time.

How pleased I was！ Maybe our dog wanted to get the ball back for he often helps my brother.

However, the key point for this issue is people’s awareness towards safety. It is a long-term goal rather than a single course for safety driving.

Actually, the safe driving education course has already been undertaken in China. To get the driving licenses, people should attend a one-month training for traffic rules and pass the examination on regulation before they take further on-road examination. During the traffic rules training, the lecturers re-stress several times the critical role of safety in driving. During the on-road exercises, the coaches emphasize repeatedly the importance

of safety in daily driving. Further, during the examination, most of the students get high marks, which indicate that they are really well equipped with all safety knowledge. However, safety related traffic aidents still our and the peace-breakers are not only young people, but also the middle-aged and experienced.

Safe driving education is a long-term mitment and should be carried out with a regular basis. Many cities, which have implemented the quarterly safety training for those already obtained driving license, have made

remarkable achievements. Their approach should be followed and gradually spread out all over the country. Only by this way can people build up their self-conscience for safety driving; only by this way can people pay enough attention to their daily driving work and only by this way can people reduce safety-related traffic aident fundamentally.
