摘要：A conveyor installation embodying individual rail-bound self-propelling vehiclesor vehicle groups, wherein each vehicle is equipped with a drive motor supplied withpower via current rails. The vehicles or vehicle groups possess at both ends a respectivecontact element essentially located at the same height and at least the contact elementwhich is rearwardly located with regard to the direction of travel has current suppliedthereto. The front contact element is coupled with a switching element located at thedrive current circuit of the drive motor and interrupts the drive current of the drivemotor at least for such length of time as, viewed in the direction of travel, the frontcontact element touches the rear contact element of a similar type vehicle or vehiclegroup located forwardly in the direction of travel.
