摘要:The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the location andorientation and for the geometrical measurement (length, width, height) of a test subjectand a method and a device for orienting a test subject, in particular tablets, in ameasuring station, in particular a tablet testing device. In the method according to theinvention, the test subject (for example, tablet, dragée, solid body) is transported via asupply unit to the top side of a rotary table. The following method steps are then carriedout in particular: the test subject is irradiated from one direction using electromagneticradiation such as visible light, which is generated in a radiation source; the rotary table isrotated about at least 180°; the shadows, which the test subject throws, or the profile isacquired by a detector such as a camera at various angles of the rotary table. Theshadows and/or the profiles of the test subject are preferably digitally acquired atvarious angles, and the dimensions, location, and/or orientation of the test subject on therotary table are calculated therefrom. Two compression jaws can then be guided to thetest subject for a breaking strength measurement.
