摘要：A travelling bed drier is disclosed, for operation of a carbonization or cokingplant in which pre-heating of coal is performed. Adapted so that a fluidized bed drier canbe superposed thereon, the travelling. bed drier possesses a heat exchange tube within aframe, the tube displaying a surface increased through suitable design such as fins or ribs,a conical tapering in the direction of the coal feed, and discharge connections located atdifferent levels on a side of the frame lying opposite vapor or hot gas entry, theconnections being for the discharge of exhaust gas-containing vapors.
