Unit 5 How are you?

一、单元分析

本单元主要围绕How are you?及其相应的四种答应句Fine, thank you. / I’m fine. And you? / Not Bad. / Not so good展开教学。纵观本册教材的上半册内容,从第一单元的Hello!/Hi! 第二单元的Good morning./Good afternoon./Nice to meet you.第四单元的Goodbye!/See you./Good night.到本单元的How are you?互致问候的礼貌用语贯穿始终。

除问候语外,本单元还介绍了八个学习用品类单词,并复习巩固了前几个单元的部分交际用语。

二、学情分析

随着学生学习内容的增多,教师在教学过程中应该经常复习学过的问候语,并鼓励学生在平时的生活、学习中尽量用英语互致问候,自觉将所学英语运用于日常交际中。 三、教学目标

(一)知识目标

1.能学会使用问候语 How are you ?及其四种应答语Fine, thank you. / I’m fine. And you? / Not Bad. / Not so good;并能运用到日常生活中。

2.能听懂会说八个学习用品类单词:a pen ,a book ,a rubber ,a pencil ,a pencil box ,

a ruler, a ball pen , a pencil sharpener. (二)技能目标

1. 会用交际用语How are you?及其相应的四种答应句Fine, thank you. / I’m fine. And you? / Not Bad. / Not so good进行交流。 2.会唱歌曲Hello ! How are you?

(三)情感目标。

了解一些外国礼仪,知道中西方文化的一些差异;了解西方打招呼的方式。 四、教学重点:

1.能学会使用问候语 How are you ?及其四种应答语Fine, thank you. / I’m fine. And you? / Not Bad. / Not so good。

2.能听懂会说八个学习用品类单词:a pen ,a book ,a rubber ,a pencil ,a pencil box , a ruler, a ball pen , a pencil sharpener. 五、教学难点:

1.能听懂会说八个学习用品类单词:a pen ,a book ,a rubber ,a pencil ,a pencil box , a ruler, a ball pen , a pencil sharpener.

2.能理解名词单复数及名词复数的读音,尤其books/s/与pencils/z/读音区别。 六、教具准备:

录音机、磁带、单词卡片、文具。 七、课时安排

第一课时

一、教学内容 A Learn to say 二、教学目标

2.会用交际用语How are you?及其相应的四种答应句Fine, thank you. / I’m fine. And you? / Not Bad. / Not so good.进行交流。 三、重点难点

1. 会用交际用语How are you ?及其四种应答语:Fine, thank you / Fine ,thank you ,And you ? I’m fine, too /Not bad, thank you /Not so good.进行日常问候。 2.能了解中西方文化差异,了解西方打招呼的方式。 四、教具准备

1.录音机,磁带,玩偶Peter.

五、教学过程 Step 1 Free talk

T: (学生静息中)Get up, boys and girls. Ss: All right.

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning, Miss Tang.

T: (利用ppt图片,做背书包状) Go to school, Ss: OK.

T:(利用ppt图片,打哈欠状)Go to bed. Ss: OK, good night.

T:(show a toy )Look ,This is my friend Peter, He wants to be your friend. T:(Toy Peter) Hello, I’m Peter, Nice to meet you . Ss:Hello, Peter, nice to meet you, too.

T:(to toy)Hello, Peter, this is Lilei.

Lilei: Hello, Peter, nice to meet you. This is my friend ×××. S2: Nice to meet you, Peter.

T:(Toy Peter)Nice to meet you, too. Step 2 Presentation

1. Teach and learn: How are you? /Fine, thank you. T: Hi, Peter, how are you?

T: (Toy Peter) Fine, thank you. (Twice times)

T:同学们,今天我们学习另外一种打招呼的方式,How are you,你好吗?Fine, thank you.我很好,谢谢你。现在请同学们仔细地看我的口型,然后跟着我读, How are you? S: How are you?

T: How are you?(多几遍,纠正读音)

S: How are you?

T: Fine, thank you. (两手放脸庞,做笑脸状,多读几遍)

S: Fine, thank you. T: How are you?

S1: (引导学生说出) Fine, thank you. T: How are you? S2: Fine, thank you.

T:现在同桌之间互相问好。

T: (Toy Peter) Fine, thank you. And you?

T: (再来一次,放慢语速)How are you?

T: (Toy Peter) Fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m fine, too.

T: 同学们,我们考试时遇到一个句子,I like pears, and you? 你们还记得吗?我喜欢梨子,你呢?And you? 表示 你呢? I’m fine, thank you. And you? 我很好,谢谢你,你呢? Now read after me. I’m fine, thank you. S: I’m fine, thank you. T: And you? S: And you?

T: I’m fine, thank you. And you? S: I’m fine, thank you. And you?

T: I’m fine, too. S: I’m fine, too.

T: I’m fine, too.我也很好。Too 表示“也”,Nice to meet you, too.我也很高兴认识你。 Now read after me. I’m fine, too.

S: I’m fine, too. T: How are you?

S1:(引导学生说) I’m fine, thank you. And you? T: I’m fine, too.

(与几个学生进行交流练习,然后同学之间进行练习) 3. Teach and learn: How are you? /Not bad, thank you. T: (教法同上) How are you?

T: (Toy Peter) Not bad, thank you.(微笑,点头) (再次展示,放慢语速,让学生明白)

T: Not bad.表示 不错。Now read after me. Not bad. S: Not bad.

T: (师生间,生生间操练How are you? Not bad.) 4. Teach and learn: How are you? /Not so good. /I’m sorry. T: (教法同上) How are you?

T: (Toy Peter)Not so good.(加咳嗽声)

T: I’m sorry. (再次展示)

T: Not so good. 表示 不太好。I’m sorry. 很抱歉,表示同情。Now read after me. Not so good. S: Not so good. T: I’m sorry. S: I’m sorry. T:(小组操练)

T: Now let’s sing a song. (《两只老虎》调子,歌词 :Good afternoon, Good afternoon, How are you ? How are you? Not so good, Not so good, I’m sorry, I’m sorry ~) (第一遍跟唱,几遍之后,小组比赛,看谁唱得好) Step3 Consolidation.

1. Watch the audio and repeat.

T:现在我们一起来看一下,小朋友们是怎么打招呼的吧。 (金太阳视频)

T: Now please read after the audio. 请同学们跟着动画里的小朋友一起打招呼。 (放视频,暂停下来,学生跟读) 2. Act out.

T: 下面四个同学为一组,按照书上的内容表演对话,三分钟后,请小组成员上来表演。看谁演得好。

2.能理解名词单复数及名词复数的读音,尤其books/s/与pencils/z/读音区别。 3.能略微了解名词复数的不同变化,加-s, -es. 4.会用英语进行交流。 三、重点难点

1.8个学习类单词发音,特别是pencil sharpener,ruler的发音。

T: (将文具放入一个袋中,闭上眼睛,拿出一支钢笔,摸并猜)Let me guess what this is.(举一支钢笔)

T: (板书a pen 一支钢笔) T: Read after me. Pen, pen. S: pen pen.

T: What colour is it? S: It’s black

T: Yes, it’s a black pen.

T: What are these?(举两支钢笔) S1:They are pens. T: Very good. They are pens.(板书 some pens 一些钢笔) T: Read after me. Some pens. S: Some pens.

(拿一支,两支钢笔,进行机械练习) 单词2:pencil

T: (教法同上,闭上眼睛,伸手摸出一支铅笔) T:Is it a pencil? S: Yes, it’s a pencil.

T: (板书a pencil一支铅笔) T: Read after me. Pencil, pencil S: pencil pencil. T: What colour is it? S: It’s green.

T: Yes, it’s a green pencil.

T: What are these?(举两支铅笔) S1:They are pencils. T: Very good. They are pencils.(板书 some pencils 一些铅笔) T: Read after me. Some pencils. S: Some pencils. 单词3:books

T: (教法同上,闭上眼睛,伸手摸出一支尺子) T:What’s this? S: It’s a ruler.

T: Oh, yes. It’s a ruler. (板书a ruler, 一把尺子) T: Read after me. Ruler S: Ruler.

T: (多读几遍,关注ruler的发音,到学生身边纠正错误读音。) T: What are these? (举两把尺子) S1: They are rulers. T: Very good. They are rulers. (板书 some rulers 一些尺子) T: Read after me. Some rulers S: Some rulers.

2. Review the four words.

T: Let’s have a chant:(边拍手边唱) 同学们,开学啦! 文具用品可不少。 Pen,pen是钢笔。 Pencil,pencil 是铅笔, Book,book是书本,

Ruler,ruler是直尺。

(文字打在PPT上,两遍跟我一起唱后,我只打拍子,学生唱;之后我打乱顺序举文具,学生按我举的文具唱。) 3. 单词5:rubber

T: (教法同上,闭上眼睛,伸手摸出一块橡皮。 T: What’s this? S: 橡皮。

T:Oh, yes. It’s a rubber. T: (板书a rubber 一块橡皮) T: Read after me. Rubber S: Rubber.

T: (多读几遍,纠正错误发音,注意与ruler区别) T: What are these?(举两块橡皮) S1:They are rubbers. T: Very good. They are rubbers. (板书 some rubbers 一些橡皮) T: Read after me. Some rubbers. S: Some rubbers.

T: Rubber, rubber是橡皮。 S:Rubber, rubber是橡皮。 单词6:ball pens. T:(教法同上)

T: Ball pen, ball pen圆珠笔, S: Ball pen, ball pen圆珠笔, 单词7:pencil box

T: (教法同上,拿出一个文具盒) T: What’s this? S: 文具盒

T: 同学们,看一下,有什么不一样。 S1: 它后面是-es.

T: 对,pencil boxes 后面加的是-es,我们前面学的水果单词里也有加-es的,谁能告诉我有哪些?
