摘要：The method involves calculating a difference between each information issuedfrom an external information source (Si) and information depending on a parameter e.g.total pressure, calculated by a central anemometer (2) of an aircraft. An absolute value ofthe difference is compared to a threshold value. The parameter is found to be invalid ifthe absolute value is greater than the threshold value, or the parameter is valid.

Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a system to monitor validity ofa parameter that is calculated by a central anemometer of an aircraft (b) an aircraft.
