【课题】

义务教育课程标准初中英语(冀教版)八年级下册第三单元第一课时第17课。

一、教学内容与学情分析 (1)本教材以Li Ming ,Jenny 和 Danny的活动为主线,围绕最常用的英语词汇、句型、交际会话等,逐步展开教学内容和实践活动。本课是第三单元的第一课,是在上一单元学习了植物后,围绕“动物”为话题展开的;(2)通过本单元的学习让学生掌握过去进行时;了解一些动物常识增强环保意识。

二、教学目标

根据学生实际情况及?新课程标准 ?的要求从三个维度设计教学目标: 1、 知识与技能目标

(1)A 组同学掌握并灵活运用本课重点、难点;B 组同学掌握重点、理解难点;C组同学理解课文大意;个别同学学会单词。

(2)树立自主学习的概念和意识;总结所学语言规律并加以利用;善于抓住用英语交际的机会。

2、过程与方法目标

以设计任务——发现问题——完成任务的任务型教学和对不同程度学生不同要求的分层教学,来完成每位学生的任务。

3、 情感态度与价值观目标

通过对动物的了解,增强学生爱护动物,保护自然、保护环境的意识;培养学生学习英语的兴趣和学好英语的勇气;培养学生对未来的一种积极的态度。

三、教学重点

(1)掌握词汇及短语:pet 、 keep (2)识别词汇及短语:amazing 、imagnary (3)用简单的语言描述本课话题。

四、教学难点

总结所学语言材料中的语言规律并加以利用。 五、教学方法和媒体

Students can choose to be Jenny ,Brian or Danny. Each member reads what the character says in the reading . [导读] 有关宠物是学生感兴趣的话题,通过学生对宠物的描绘,激发学生爱护动物的情感。

本单元以“动物”为话题,整个单元设计围绕动物展开。通过本课学习,发

挥学生想象力,提高保护动物、保护自然的意识。同时掌握运用有关这些话题的词汇和句型。

(二)教学目标 1. 知识目标

Words: amazing, pet, imaginary, lovely, duck, goose. Sentences:

(1)She plays with me when I come home from school. (2)I will keep him under my desk.

(3)I will need to plant a tree in my bedroom. 2. 能力目标

发展学生的听、说、识、记及对话能力。 3. 情感态度和价值观

通过本课学习,提高保护动物、保护自然的意识。 (三)教学重点和难点 1. 重点句子

(1)She plays with me when I come home. (2)I will keep him under my desk.

有关宠物是学生感兴趣的话题,通过学生对宠物的描绘,激发学生爱护动物的情感。

三、教学方法

本单元采用提问、启发、对话、归纳的教法,培养学生的语言运用能力。

四、教学过程设计 Step 1 Leading in

T: Do you like animals? Ss: Yes / No.

T: No matter whether you like them or not, I am sure you know some of them, right? Ss: Right.

T:Now I will call some students to write some animals names on the Bb, I will see who know the most about this. Ss: (Writing on the Bb…) Step 2 Presentation

T: Who can tell me what your favourite animal is? Why? Ss: My favourite animals are cats, because they are lovely. Ss: Pandas are my favourite, they are friendly.

T: Ok, Do you like a pet? Would you like to have one? Ss: Yes.

T: Today we will learn Lesson 17 People love pets. In this lesson, Brain and Danny are talking about pets. First let’s learn new words on the small

blackboard.

Step 3 Listening

1. Play the audio tape. Try to answer the following questions. (1)What is Jenny’s pet? (2)What is Danny’s pet? (3)What is Brain’s pet?

(4)Why does Brain want to plant a tree in the bedroom? 2. Correct the answer. Step 4 Discussion

From the students’ answers, we know their pets are different. Discuss the dialogue and fill the form from the text.

教学反思

本节课的设计遵循了以学生为主体的原则,结合教材重点、难点,任务设计 及课堂活动的开展遵循照顾不同层次学生的需要,让每个学生都有话可说,有事可做。通过个人发言、问答小组、角色表演、讨论、采访等多种形式,利用了多媒体辅助教学,是学生从视、听、说、写等方面得到锻炼,在轻松愉快的氛围中温故而知新,达到初步运用英语交际的能力,取得好的效果。

在课堂的语言交际中,教师的教学与学生的积极参与是密不可分的。因此,我注重课堂任务的设计。任务型教学的设计宗旨是为课堂教学服务,学生是直接的受益者。任务设计要有明确的运用目的,要能达到一定的结果,要具有交际性和真实性。根据任务型教学法的三个步骤,在本节课中一共设计4个大任务,体现了由浅入深、由已知到未知、由知识向能力过度的循序渐进的教学发展过程,真正做到让学生在学中用,在用中学。

我以播放学生都会唱的英文儿童歌曲为导入,营造热烈的课堂气氛,让学生 在无意中接触英语,积极发言,并为后续讨论打下基础。Task1 A Guessing Game中的听声音猜动物,由听引入信息,使学生感知学习内容;Task2 A Free Talk中激发学生的发散思维和想象力;Task3 Talk about Pets and Wild Animals培养学生自主学习与合作学习的能力;分析问题与解决问题的能力;Task4 Interview 训练学生语言的组织能力和运用语言的能力。

为了避免在课堂教学中学生有一种单调、沉闷的感觉,我运用多媒体辅助教学,以提高教学效率。在制作课件时我特意加入动物的声音来让学生猜,还有每个环节都有好看的图片与有趣的声音来搭配等。这样,不但能让学生以更直观的视角去学习,而且还激发学生的学习积极性和有完成任务的兴趣。通过多媒体辅助,创造一个图、文、声、像并茂,生动有趣的语言教学情境,调动学生积极性,激发学生的参与欲望,为学生提供一个极为活泼、轻松的语言学习环境,因而必然会促进学生的英语学习。

这节课的教学设计仍有待完善之处,比如,巩固练习题量跟不上;再者是要设计适合的好的具有真实性任务对自己来讲是很具有挑战性,需要深入地领悟教育思想,深入地钻研教材,深入了解学生,让学生的课堂活动在课外延续下去。

接市教科所[2011]14号:“关于举办全省‘义务教育课程改革十年回望’案例征集活动的通知”的通知。 2011年适逢甘肃省义务教育课程改革走过十年历程, 为了更好地总结和交流十年来我省在新课程实践中的经验与成果,探讨深化课程改革的路径,促进教师专业能力的提升与专业发展,提高教育质量,推进素质教育。决定举办“义务教育课程改革十年回望”暨课程改革成果案例征集评选活动。 一、评选主题 本次评选活动的主题指向于围绕新课程开展的各类教育教学和管理实践研究成果,注重实践性、操作性、反思性;注重特色、创新、发展;注重新课程理念的升华。主题包括: 1.本地课程改革的成功方案、优秀成果、经验及感悟; 2.学校实施新课程的典型经验、有效策略及反思; 3.校本课程开发与实施的成功案例; 4.学校课程管理的典型策略与方法; 5.学校评价、教学评价和学业评价的标准和实施方法的研究; 6.综合实践活动课程开发与实施的研究; 7.中小学各学科课堂教学高质量轻负担教学模式建构研究; 8. 综合素质评价有效实施的探索研究; 9. 校本教研机制建设与实践研究; 10. 课程资源开发的案例研究; 11.课程改革中教师专业成长与发展:经历、经验与反思。 二、提交要求 1.参评案例未在公开出版物上发表,且未参加同级别的其他评比活动。 2.案例以3000~5000字为宜,根据评选主题确定写作题目,案例内容要求理论联系实际,强调内容的原创性、实践的指导性、经验的推广性和面向未来的启发性。避免纯粹的工作报告和经验总结。对于不符合征文要求的文章,将不予评奖。 3.案例投稿格式要求: (1)所有参赛案例需要提交电子稿和三份打印稿; (2)案例封面页必须提供以下信息:文章题目、作者姓名、工作单位、通讯地址、邮编、联系电话、电子邮箱; (3)文稿中的标题请依次使用:一、二、三、??,1.2.3.??,(1)(2)(3)??,①②③??。 (4)征集案例的基本结构应包括以下主要内容:①活动(教学)设计思想;②活动(教学)实录;③效果评析;④总结与反思 三、报送方式 1. 各学校统一报送教研室,由教研室报送至教科所。 2.所有参评案例收取150元评审费,截止日期为2011年7月8日。 四、奖励办法 1.本次案例征集设立一、二、三等奖,对于获奖案例,我们将择优在《教育革新》上予以刊登。 2.优秀案例将收录入《甘肃省义务教育课程改革十年回望》一书中。 3.本次活动最终解释权归活动组织者。 五、联系方式,联系人:教研室贾老师 六、其他有关事项 1.坚持自愿参赛的原则,参赛对象为我省教育教学一线教师、教育科研工作者、教育管理者。 2本次评选倡导科研诚信。案例的材料要来自作者的教育教学和管理实践,引用他人的观点和材料要注明,否则将以剽窃或抄袭处理。
