摘要：A communication mechanism for use between an application and a streamingcomponent, which has on the streaming side a passive interface that can be used to check(poll) whether control commands are pending. The streaming algorithm checks thequeue at those points in time, at which it makes sense to execute control. The mainadvantage: In the case that the application runs in another process than the streamingcomponent, an activation of an RPC task is saved. In the case that the application runs onanother processor than the streaming component, and there is shared memory, anadditional advantage is that the streaming processor does not need tobe interruptedwhen control is performed.
