Chapter 1 Safety Instructions

1.1 Safety instruction

This equipment can only be installed and maintained by professional persons whom have been trained.

During the installation and the maintenance of this equipment, safety regulations and relevant local laws and regulations must be followed, if not, dangerous or damages to the equipment may occur. The safety instructions mentioned in this manual is the supplement to the local safety laws and regulations.

Any injuries or damages resulting from breaching the safety instructions and the safety norms governing the designing, production and usage of the mounting systems should not be regarded as our responsibilities.

Chapter 2 Preparations for installation

Abstractor

This chapter introduces the surrounding environments necessary to the installation and the checking process when the packaging boxes are opened.

2.1 Checking the surrounding environments

The items regarding the surrounding environments necessary to installations are as follows:

2.1.1 Checking the ground

Verify the layout of the places where the mounting systems are located, and to check whether the infrastructure in question can meet the demands of installation.

2.1.2 Preparation of tools

Check whether the tools necessary to the installations can meet the demands.

2.2 Preparation for the technical materials

Check whether the technical materials necessary to the installations are in comply with each other. Those materials include Installation Manual and Installation Drawing.

2.3 Checking the goods

2.3.1 Procedures of opening the box

Methods and Procedures:

1) Move the upper cover of the box by loosening the connections between the upper cover and the side parts of the box. 2) Move out the components with gloves.

2.3.2 Checking

1、 Check and note whether the packaging box is damaged or not. 2、 Open the packaging box according to the procedure mentioned in 1.5.1 3、 Check the goods according to the packing list attached to the packaging

box.

4、 Check whether the goods inside the box is damaged or not. Goods

damaged can be replaced by the spare parts in the box, and one can get the replacement from us. 5、Note the checking results.

The Checking reports should be signed both by Wellkey and the end users, and should be returned to Marketing Department and Engineering Department of Wellkey.

Chapter 3 Installation Process

Abstractor

This chapter introduces the detailed procedures for the installation of Ground station mounting systems.

3.1 Installation Procedures

Detailed installation procedures are as follows:

Define the position where the support will be installed---Installing the support----Installing the angle steel(80x50) and angle steel(50x50)---Installing the rails--- Installing the rails supporting the modules--- Fastening the PV modules ----inspection

installation.

2、 Safety instructions and installation procedures should be followed so as to

ensure safety.

Chapter 4 Layout of the mounting system

Abstractor

This chapter introduces the layout of the mounting system.

4.1 Defining the position where the support will be installed.

1） Define the base location of the installation and draw a line to confirm. 2） Define the installation position based on the assembly drawing.

Chapter 5 Installing the support

5.1 Specifications of the support

Support: 10＃ channel steel

5.2 Installing Procedures

1) Installing the support by using pile driver based on the line drew defining the position of support.

2）Because of the complicated geographic conditions, pressure need to be set before driving a pile (this pressure should make sure that the support can be put into the earth smoothly under normal geographic conditions without any damage even when the support heat stones or other hard stuffs,) Other treatment to the earth will be needed when the support cannot be put into the earth with certain pressures. 3）Schematic diagram of installation:

Chapter 6 Installing the angle steel

6.1Specification of the angle steel

80x50 50x50

6.2Installation Procedures

1) Connecting the inclined strut and the support; 2) Screwing the bolt with wrench.

3) Checking the installation size according to the drawing, and make sure that the support and the inclined strut are tightened together.

Chapter 7 Installing the rails

7.1Specification of the rails

80mm×30×1.6 bended steel

7.2Installation Procedures

1)Connecting the support, rails and the inclined struts. 2) Screwing the bolt with wrench.

3) Checking the installation size according to the drawing, and make sure that the support and the inclined strut are tightened together.

Chapter 8 Installing the rails—supporting the modules

8.1 Brief introduction to the rails—supporting the modules

Specification:41mm×41mm×1.50mm

8.2 Installation Procedures

1) Connecting the rails by using screw bolts. 2) Screwing the bolt with wrench.

3) Checking the installation size according to the drawing, and make sure that the support and the inclined strut are tightened together.

Chapter 9 Fastening the modules

9.1 Specification of the modules:

1580mm×808mm×50mm

9.2Installing procedures

1) Put the modules horizontally on the profiles

2) Checking the installation size and then fasten the modules by using

clamps and screw bolts.

Chapter 10 Commissioning of the installation

Overview the system after installation, including the size, and the mechanical stability. And this part should be carried out according to the installation drawings.
