摘要：A hydrodynamic device having an impeller, a turbine and a clutch for providing aslipping mechanical drive between the turbine and impeller in addition to the normalhydraulic drive therebetween wherein the clutch is engaged with fluid pressure derivedfrom the pressure within the hydrodynamic device and is controlled by a valve operatedby thrust on the turbine to maintain a constant speed differential between the turbineand impeller regardless of input torque.
