Thesis statement:

As a college student, I admit working in city can provide us with more and better chance to find an ideal job, but I still oppose to work in the town because the work environment in the rural areas in more peaceful and pleasant.

I. Opponent's argument :

They have very great expectation to the society after graduation and they believe firmly only in big city can college students can realize their aspiration and dream.

A. Young people like to seek for fashion and excitement

B. And life in city trends to be exciting and attractive

Refutation:

There are more pressure and depression behind the sumptuous life.

A. High earing is needed to support yourselves

B. The difference between reality and dream will inevitably bring

anxiety, regret, and all kinds of negative emotions.

II. Opponent's argument :

They can find better jobs and make more money than in the town.

A. City is a huge stage which is full of various occupations

B. the payment in city is higher than in town

Refutation:

What matters to your payment is your ability ,not your location.

A. A college student should gradually improve working ability.

B. We are not working for money

III. Opponent's argument :

They want to broaden their horizon and gain more experience after living in the big city

A. Modern building , advanced facility, convenient transportation

B. City life is more interesting than the town life

Refutation:

A. Life in the countryside is also full of fun .

B. Unlike the city's lifestyle, countryside trends to be harmonious

Conclusion :

If more college graduates can recognise themselves clearly , realize working in the town is a better choice than in the city, and then make the most suitable choice for their career, they can live happier.

A hard choice

When it comes July , the graduation month, many grade four college students who has decided to find a job are confronted with the choice of either trying their fortune in a big or seeking for chance in the countryside. It's a hard choice. As a college student, I admit working in city can provide us with more and better chance to find an ideal job, but I still oppose to work in the town because the work environment in the rural areas in more peaceful and pleasant.

Some students want to find a job in the city due to they have very great expectation to the society after graduation and they believe firmly only in big city can college students can realize their aspiration and dream. Young people like to

seek for fashion and excitement. And life in city trends to be exciting and attractive because of its large population and their modern living style. Some of my

classmates ever told me they were eager to be the office lady in the big company , which appeared to be excellent and fantastic. While it is true that city life is full of passion, the fact is that there are more pressure and depression behind the sumptuous life. First of all, high earing is needed to support yourselves in the environment of high living standard of city. It must be a big burden. Secondly , it is a long and tough process before making a success. The difference between reality and dream will inevitably bring disappointment, anxiety, regret, and all kinds of negative emotions, which is very harmful even dangerous for young people who are just stepping into the society. However, life in the countryside is peaceful without so much pressure and depression that bother young people.

There are also a group of people desiring for working in city because there are higher wage in city than in town. They argue that city is a huge stage which is full of various occupations, so they can find better jobs and make more money than in the town. It's true that the payment in city is higher than in town , but I still want to point out that what matters to your payment is your ability ,not your location. True ability is much more important than the opportunity. So after graduation, a college student should gradually improve working ability. Country can keep us in a calm and good environment to gradually practice ourselves. Besides, we are not working for money , but for the happiness and satisfaction in our inner heart that we can get through working. Besides , the living environment can increase the peace in heart.

Another obvious reason why some people choose city is that they want to broaden their horizon and gain more experience after living in the big city, like Beijing , Shanghai, and so on. Modern building , advanced facility, convenient transportation are the ideal living state for them. Admittedly , city life is more interesting than the town life when talking about the the amusement and entertainment. However, we must notice that life in the countryside is also full of fun and city is not the only place that can create happiness. Unlike the city's lifestyle, countryside trends to be harmonious, where we can have a close distance with the nature and have a good view about the nature.

Now a growing number of undergraduates can't find satisfying jobs after graduation in big cities and a part of them become ant-like class with a hard life in the super big cities, like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. I strongly disagree with them. I want to say if more college graduates can recognise themselves clearly , realize working in the town is a better choice than in the city, and then make the most suitable choice for their career, they can live happier.
