第一课时教学设计

[教学课题]:

《牛津小学英语》 4B Unit6 Let’s go by taxi(Part B、C) [教材简解]:

本单元的教学内容复现了3A中的单词bike, car等交通工具,supermarket等地方名词和句型Let's go to„by„并以此为基础增加了train, minibus等交通工具和theatre等地方名词。本课时的教学内容贴近学生的生活,有利于学生在比较接近于实际的情景中听听说说,从而培养他们运用英语进行交际的能力 [目标预设]:

1.能听懂、会说、会读和会拼a station, a hospital,on foot, by taxi, by train, by plane

2.能听懂、会说和会读a theatre, a supermarket, a library, an airport, minibus.

3.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型Shall we go to„by„?及应答语All right/OK.

4.通过引导学生学习与练习,使学生发现英语的实用性、产生浓厚的兴趣,并使学生认识到保护环境的重要性。 [重点、难点]:

1.能正确地听、说、读、写词汇a station ,a hospital ,a supermarket ,by plane ,by train ,by taxi ,on foot 。

2.能听懂、会说、会读和会写句型Shall we go to„by„?及应答语All right/OK. [设计理念]

在本课的教学设计中,我将生动有趣的生活素材引入课堂教学,激活了教材上的静态语言,创设了生活化的情境,以情境为教学载体(从英格兰—北京—无锡—靖江的游览路线和方式),让学生以自己的经验亲身体验情境中的问题,让学生有一个真实的体验过程,在交际中培养他们的语言运用能力和初步解决问题的能力。 [设计思路]

在教学过程中,我紧扣主题,利用南希游览中国为主线,引出本课所学单词,并把交通类单词和地点类单词串联起来,使单词的学习得到了有机的联系。在教

学中,我利用转盘依次出现靖江乐天玛特超市,大戏院、图书馆,人民医院等大型建筑,通过不同场所的标志显示,学生能够清楚地意识到使用哪种交通方式的需要,从而使本单元重点句型得以有效的生成。除此以外,我把环保,当前的这一世界性话题引入教学,目的是培养学生从小热爱地球,保护环境的意识。 [教学过程]

Step 1: Warming up

1. Sing a song: the wheels on the bus 2.Free talk

T: It’s spring now. Spring is green and the weather is warm. Do you have any suggestions for a spring outing? Pair work:

A: Let’s go to (the)„ B: Good. But how? A: By„

[设计意图]:通过歌曲《The wheels on the bus》的暗示性导入方式,将学生们的注意力转移到与交通工具有关的话题上来。在Free talk环节让生生两人小组围绕“对于去哪里春游,你有什么好建议吗?”开展对话交流,以贴近现实生活的自由对话方式让学生们的思维紧紧围绕交通工具和地点展开,为本课所学内容做铺垫。 Step 2: Presentation

1. T: Today I’ll introduce a friend to you. Let’s look, who’s she? 出示Nancy照片 S: She’s Nancy.

T: Nancy is twelve years old. She lives in England. She likes China very much. She wants to go to JingJiang now. But how? Let’s see.(出示地图) T: Look, Nancy lives here. It’s a long way.(出示交通路线图) First she should go to Beijing. How can she go there? (课件播放飞机声音) S: By plane. 新授 plane

T: Where can you see many planes? S: „

T: You can see many planes in an airport.

2.课件出示:用路线连接英格兰和北京

T: Now Nancy is in Beijing,she should go to Wuxi next, how can she go to Wuxi. Who knows? S:„

(课件播放火车声音) 新授:train By train

T: Where can you see the train? S:„

T: You can see the train in a station. 新授station.

3.用路线连接北京和无锡

T: Now Nancy is in Wuxi. How can she go to Jingjiang? S: By bus.

T: Yes, she also can go by minibus. 新授minibus.

4.用路线连接无锡和靖江。

T: Now Nancy is in Jingjiang. How can she go to our school? S: By bike/minibus.

T Great! She can go to our school on foot too. 新授on foot.

5.出示南希从英格兰到柏木学校的完整线路图,并复习刚学过的词汇(出示单词卡片,读两遍)

T:Let’s try to say.Nancy goes to Bei jing by plane in an airport. She goes to Wuxi by train in a station.

Then she goes to Jingjiang by bus or minibus .At last she goes to our school by minibus or on foot.

[设计意图]:利用南希一天的具体行程作为主线,将本课所学的交通类单词和地点类单词串联起来,使单词的学习得到了有机的联系,避免单一的单词呈现。 6.T: Boys and girls, Nancy is in Jingjiang. You know Zhang jia gang is a famous city. Can you tell her some places about Jingjiang? S:„

T: Let’s play a game.

利用转盘游戏依次出现靖江乐天玛特超市,大戏院、图书馆,人民医院等大型建筑

A.T: Where is it? S: It’s a supermarket.

T: Yes, it’Lotte Mart supermarket.

(新授supermarket,老师可以用学过的句子作内容扩展) T: Now, let’s say :let’s go to„. Ss:Hi,Nancy. Let’s go to the supermarket. B.T: Where is it? S: It’s a theatre T: Yes, it’s theatre T: Let’s say to Nancy

Ss: Let’s go to the theatre” T: Great! But how? S: By„

T: Yes, you also can say “Shall we go to the „by„?”(板书) S: All right./OK.

新授句型:Shall we go to the „by„?All right./OK.

[设计意图]:英语学习的最终目的就是实现英语语言综合技能的提升和交流。在此,话题从我们所在城市的建筑展开,让学生们在真实的环境里运用英语展示自己实际处理问题的能力。在教学过程中,让学生们真正体会家乡美、爱家乡和保护家乡环境的情感。 Step 3: Ask and answer Part C

1.出示本课新学的地点图片,并在图片后附上交通工具图片,让学生编写对话 T:Now, look at this picture. The two boys want to go to the supermarket.They can say:Shall we go to the supermarket by bus? All right. T:Can you say?Now, open your books at P47.Talk about the other picturtes. (ppt呈现图片,给学生2分钟自由练习的时间)

T:Are you ready? Who wants to try? Work in pairs. Ss act the dialogue, T check the answers. 2.Read the dialogue after the teacher.

[设计意图]:遵循词不离句,句不离词,学以致用的原则,让学生两两说

起来,练起来,教师主导,抛砖引玉和一个学生先练一个作为示范,学生主体,多形式操练看图说话,多给学生自己动脑动口的机会,增强小组协作能力。 Step 4: Consolidation Play a game: Be a guide.

T: Boys and girls, Nancy is in Jingjiang now, please go to some places with her. Work in pairs. A: Shall we go to„by„? B: All right./OK.

2.(出示一些祖国各大城市的美丽风景和建筑,让学生选择最想去的地方,告诉同桌,操练句型。)

T:May Day is coming.please invite your friend to go to some places. Design your trip. S1: Shall we go to„by„? S2: All right. / „

学生练习过程中教师巡视指导个别小组。

[设计意图]: 在教学中,我充分考虑学生的年龄和心理特点,采取倾向于自由组合的板块式学习方式,让学生自主决定要参观的城市、自由选择交通工具。在此过程中让学生们真正体会到了祖国美、爱祖国和保护环境的情感。 Step 5: Homework

1. Help Nancy design the way to England。 2. Copy the new words of Part B four times.
