摘要：The present invention relates to a method and a device for transferringinformation in a communication network, in which control information for controlling theoperation and payload of the network is conveyed separately in respective channelswhich are each defined by one or more time slots allocated in a recurrent frame and eachcomprising an established number of n bits. According to the invention, each of at leastthe time slots which define channels conveying payload traffic is associated with arespective additional bit which is used as a flag to indicate whether control informationexists as regards the time slot associated with the respective additional bit. The controlinformation in itself, when said additional bit indicates the existence thereof, is conveyedas at least some of the n bits of the time slot associated with said respective additionalbit.
