摘要：The adaptable connecting device (10) has a connecting device (12) via which thepipes (52) which are to be connected are joined to one another. An adaptor intermediatepiece (30), which can be inserted into an insertion space (14) which is provided at theconnecting end, is provided on each connecting end of the connecting body (12).Compression of that section (18) of the connecting body (12) which surrounds theinsertion space produces a firm connection between the intermediate piece (30) and theconnecting body (12). The intermediate piece (30) has a circumferential depression (44)into which the material of the connecting body (12) is pressed. The pipes (52) which are tobe connected are pushed on to the intermediate pieces (30) which are provided withsupporting sections (34) for this purpose. By suitable selection of intermediate pieces(30) having supporting sections (34) of different diameter - with a constant externaldiameter of the insertion ends (32) located in the insertion spaces (14) - a connectingdevice (10) can be assembled which is matched to the diameters of the pipes (52) whichare to be connected.
