摘要：1. Process for manufacturing ingots and castings, a melt of a relatively high-melting alloy, in particular an iron-, nickel- or cobalt-based alloy, being cast by top orbottom casting in a stationary multi-part ingot mould (2) with a base plate (1), and

whereupon the casting is released from the mould at the place of casting, characterizedin that the casting, in the solidifying state, is released from the mould in at least twosteps, in a first step, the outer skin already being solidified and the core being liquid inthe lower region, this region, in particular the base of the casting, being released fromthe mould over its entire periphery, and a remaining part, at least the head part of thecasting, remaining further in one part (8) of the ingot mould (2) until it has completelysolidifed, after which the head part of the casting is released from the mould in a laststep.
