摘要：Impact damping device (1), in particular for a motor vehicle (2), with a crossmember (3) and at least one impact damper (5), wherein an impact damper (5) is arrangedbetween the cross member (3) and a vehicle frame (4) in order to damp a force (FL) in thedirection of the longitudinal axis (6) of the impact damper (5), wherein the connection ofthe impact damper (5) to the vehicle frame (4) comprises a receiving device (7), the latterhaving at least one deformation zone (9) in order, via a deformation of the material in thedeformation zone (9), to bring about a damping of a force introduced transversely withrespect to the longitudinal axis (6) of the impact damper (5). An impact damping device(1) is therefore provided which damps both an impact in the longitudinal direction of themotor vehicle (2) and an impact with an application of force running transversely withrespect to the longitudinal direction of the motor vehicle.
